Speed Friending Night — Meet New People Fast

Looking to meet new people in Calgary without the awkwardness of walking into a room and not knowing who to talk to?

On April 25, Adventure Calgary is hosting a Speed Friending Night at a local venue in Calgary, and it’s designed to make meeting people feel easy, natural, and actually fun.

This is a social event for all adults. No age brackets. No weird exclusivity. Just a room full of adults who are open to new connections: male, female, or otherwise.

Whether you’re new to the city, trying to grow your circle, looking for activity buddies, future best friends, hiking friends, dinner friends, travel friends, or just some more solid humans in your life, this night is for you.

Here’s how it’ll work:

We’ll start with a casual welcome mingle so everyone can settle in, grab a drink, and ease into the room. Then we’ll move into a series of short, guided one-on-one chats with rotating partners. We’ll have fun prompt cards to keep things flowing, so you won’t be stuck trying to invent conversation from thin air.

After the speed rounds, we’ll shift into a more relaxed open social where you can reconnect with the people you clicked with most.
